@Manofstihl066. Is this the saw?

We don't yet know boss.

So some damage to this Saw came by your hand.

See Above

There are 2 different stories within these post from the same person.

I Have Never Taken Up for Jason, or Condoned any of his wrong doing.

I simply try to hold people to the same measure with which I will be measured, & would hope others would only use facts & not speculation, or disdain for an individual, when discussing such a serious matter.

I agree with Doc that Jason & Bradley,( not BS, but MOS), should be the 2 people dealing with this.

Randy's Integrity doesn't need a Parrot: he's always been square with everything I've ever heard about him, save his pointy legs.

I Consider myself a Friend of Randy: I don't understand why he was mixed up in this to begin with.

I just don't understand how someone has an issue with the saw, & doesn't try to send it back to the builder first.

Especially when that someone bust part of the saw themselves.
Mine isn't the saw from that thread. Me hurting the tank was my fault I've said that. That came after the saw malfunction. I didn't send the saw back to Jason because I had lost trust with him. Frustration had piled on since looking at the job he did to the 661 muffler prior to the 064. Don't know what ur talking dude. When did I share different stories?

It was read & understood by multiple there were issues with the cylinder.

Some replies were changed: I saw last night how that was understood.

You lost trust with him over a muffler weld?

All of that mess with the other thread that was proven to be inaccurate, & you're hanging the reason you sent the 1122 to Randy over a muffler weld?

When did you send the 1122 to Randy?

When did you send the 661 To Wisconsin?

I think Randy only tried to help members who had issues with Jason. It was my case, and Randy was really helpfull. Deets too. But after some PM's from Jason on AS, he finally sent me the cylinder, but he was incredibly angry against Randy, he told me he was banned from OPE because Randy hate him. Word for word.

And you're right about the buyer, the best thing to do when you have an issue with a ported saw after only a few minutes is to send it to the builder. I understand he could be in a bad day, and smash the saw to the ground, but why didn't he contact Jason at first?

MOS, did you feel something was wrong with the saw (other than the oiling issue)? Or is it because you heard rumors about Jason and you was scared to ship back the saw and never got it back?

Edit: Sorry MOS, I tought this was your saw.

Why would he want to send a saw back to a angry porter thats already pissed off because he cheated himself and cheated his customer.Should have done the best he could do. Its a happier road when its time to move on to another job(saw) because isn't each saw a new job so to speak.

Why aren't you allowing him to answer the question rather than throwing in your opinion?

This saw, the 064 that has an 066 Top end that is at Randy's, should be the topic of this thread.

Not Assumptions
No Accusations
No Speculation

If you've had bad dealings with a Porter, go talk to that Porter, & if y'all can't get right, get the mods involved.

There was never anything wrong with the cylinder. I said that and so did Randy. In fact we both said the port work looked good. Go back to page 1 and start over. The 661 muffler had a butchered baffle along with bad welds on the cover. I sent the 064 to Randy to check out the oiler, clutch and replace my tank. This was a month or so ago. I sent the 661 to Julian after. I lost trust with Jason after a built $1500 saws oiler and clutch goes bad on the second tank of fuel. Randy opened the saw and I'm glad he did to find all the bad bearings and seals and other parts. Julian and Scott have pics of my661 with cylinder ground thru and patched on both sides. I wasn't aware and would have never paid for that.

You aren't supposed to warn people when a snake is around.

You just let them get bit...even i understand that much.

You just take it up with that guy and get the run around with some more lies thrown in...lose your money...and say nothing.

If I ever get in the porting business, & I have a saw give trouble, I hope that the buyer gives me the opportunity to fix the saw that gave trouble, like I have done with others.

Whether it is saw #1 or saw #1001.

So you sent the 661 to Julian, & not Scott, after you sent the 1122 to Randy?

That Chit show on AS was started as soon as that saw was unboxed, evidently.

+ it's all Brad's Fault.

He should have known selling a Saw years ago would turn into this.

I was skeptical about Jason. I trust Randy, sent it and paid him to fix it. I bought the cylinder from Julian and sent him the saw. Scott rebuilt it.
