I've reached the point in age where I have begun to feel the need to have a good solid pistol. I'd like to have a hammerless revolver.......38 0r 357Mag.
I'm just talking about a 4 "-6", depending on air temperature.
Lol!You're a fugging weird mf'er......
@Mastermind ...Hey Monkey Man, I've got an absolute mint S&W model 66 6" stainless .357 Combat Magnum double action I've had about 30 years now...two or three sets of pachmayr grips and the factory wood grips, zippered case, etc...I might be willing to part ways with. And it is mint! They stopped production of the 66 Combat Magnum back in 2005 and they're becoming a rare and costly commodity to find in mint condition. Might be a little more jingle than you want to pump into one if it's gonna get thrown around and treated a little rough...
More gun than I'd want to be responsible for. LOL
I'm serious about finding a beat to *s-word wheel gun to throw in the box on the tractor or baler. Just something handy in case I needed it. David is right though.......needs a 4" barrel to be worth using on the farm.

My model 38 airweight has the hammer with a shroud is my favorite bought it used 15 years ago. Was a Decatur City detective's piece. Good shooter for 1 7/8 "I carried my little S&W j frame for years off d. Very simple and quick. RELIABLE!!!
I've been waiting for one of these big money guys to ask how much it would take. Kinda embarrassing for a guy with funds as limited as mine to ask about a gun like that but... inquiring minds want to know.@Mastermind ...Hey Monkey Man, I've got an absolute mint S&W model 66 6" stainless .357 Combat Magnum double action I've had about 30 years now...two or three sets of pachmayr grips and the factory wood grips, zippered case, etc...I might be willing to part ways with.
