No its fine here...

Ok ok

Im looking for a new 9 mm debating between smith M&P or springfield XD.

I've reached the point in age where I have begun to feel the need to have a good solid pistol. I'd like to have a hammerless revolver.......38 0r 357Mag.

My FIL Keeps a 357 in the night stand in case of visiters.

you have any thoughts on brand?
I will never buy another Taurus product because their support sucks.

I have been very impressed with the Thompson/Center Smith and Wesson group. They are easy to get hold of stand behind their product and made in the USA.

Back to that 9mm, Springfield XDM 4.5" Match for the win. Also have an XDM 4.5" Match in .40 S&W. Some of the best handguns on the planet. I prefer the .40 over the 9mm though!

I want a used Smith & Wesson. Beat up......a little rusty even. I could care less about how it looks as long as it fires.

I tend to be hard on stuff like that. It would ride in the toolbox on the tractor a lot.

S&W Centenial 640. .38special
I shoot regular loads. But carry +P+ rounds. Just can't give it a steady dose of extra pressure rounds.

Ruger LCR 357 mag ftw. 5 shots, fits in the pocket nicely, and LOUD! Like people at the gun range come over and ask, "WTF is that?" LOUD!

Jon1212 fixed my post. That's why it is easier to comprehend.

If it'll be just for around the house and property I'd much rather have a full sized revolver than a snubbed nose any day.

Good point. J Frames are smaller, less inheritanly accurate and made for carry.
