Picked this up a couple weeks ago. Seems to work well, but i dont have much time on it. Price was right

Looks just like Diamond wheel inc that I use
That was a good buy
What I found is to clean the wheel in a sonic cleaner works much better than the white stick

I guess I should mention the advertised 22mm arbor hole. The math comes out to .866". 7/8 is .875". I figured this was due to a metric conversion misnomer. The wheel was tight fitting onto my aluminum arbor adapter. Made a couple circles with a dremel and it fit. I don't know if its my arbor or the wheel that's slightly out of spec

I had some problems when testing mini-grinders, where '7/8 ID' meant different things to different companies. Some wheels would just not fit onto the arbors of some grinders. Some were too loose (tried shimming the grinder arbor with tape; did not work great). A conventional grinding wheel can be dressed, once mounted, if not centered after 'modding'. These CBN wheels - not so much.

Might do better boring the ID with the right sized bit in a drill press, rather than with a Dremel.

Just chuck it up in the lathe :D.
I may get one of those. The one on my super jolly does a good job, not sure what it even is, never need to shape it and it stays pretty cool. I just like trying new stuff out, something to do I guess. Anyone have a newer simington they want to sell :).

I see. Didn't know if that was the finished product, also wanted to see what it looked like from the other side when you were done with it.

I'm not thinking OLC means what I know it to be lol "Online Learning Consortium".
I like deals though :D.

OLC is Oregon Logging Conference a few days we all have to sit in classes to get credits just to work.

So my acronym may sound like more fun lol.
So you think someplace will have some deals on the simingtons. If you hear of any deals let me know, might be costly for the shipping, but I don't know of anyone selling them here.

Normally Kelly is down there, Madsens is the only place I saw listed for dealers the last time I looked.

This is less grinder tips and more chain storage, but anyone have a good durable alternative to the boxes the chains come in? I’ve been stuffing two or three into shot shell boxes. But it would be nice to have a smaller box to do one chain per box.
