What did Ethan learn about styles of chain on certain wood? I know I learned something.

And:

How many beers were consumed in the process of making video?

I learned that although every chain was different, many of them cut well! This wood liked lower rakers, I’ll take that into account in the future.
A chain with no chassis work won, crazy isn’t it?!

I would consider the rakers on my chain fairly high.
The Carlton chain I sent came off the same square grinder with lower rakers. So how much sense does that make?

I do have an idea why my 3 cube chain was faster though.

The wood is important...
Wet or dry, it can make a huge difference.

The cottonwood up in Iowa will pull and rob power bad. As will the cottonwood here., but not everywhere apparently. Some growing conditions must make it more like aspen or popple.
