PAST 2021 chain build-off

Both mine are done and waiting to be ran. Calling for 7-8” here, I think we have about 2-3 right now.

I’ve got a hair over a foot here right now, getting another 6-8 this week, Ohio rarely sees this!

This is the ground chain I’m entering, rakers are ugly shapes and heel clipping is bad, it was my very first back in the day! Teeth are tiny, I think it’ll do just fine!

@Dolkitafreak my loop is enroute. Not my best work... it’ll need a light handed operator, definitely don’t wanna slam it in the wood. Went a teeny bit too far w/ rakers. My Scarr94 pulls it but it may stall yours.

Have not set a date yet after Dave’s loss. I plan to reach out to him soon, thinking 2 weeks or so from now.

Here are the results, times shown are the fastest cuts made per chain for each saw, I added the fastest solo cut to the fastest 394, to average the final time and decide placing. Once Dave has the video made any discrepancies could be seen, but we ran 3 watches so it’s unlikely! Message me for your letter, EXL is a stock loop of Oregon EXL off the roll for comparison. Top placings were C (me) then K (John Reilly chain that Dave brought) then B
(@Bjorn ‘s square chain).

Edit: you see some of the bottom chains don’t have a 394 time, those were all chains that Dave brought with him and not people that sent them in, we were short on wood (story of my life) so we didn’t run any of his except the fastest on the 394.
