Dave do you know who casts these for Wiseco?
Dave although it sucks it didn't work out for the first go but I'm glad you're stepping up to the plate to make it right that is Sooper assume that you are doing this. Now they should know what they need to do to make them work.OK guys we are going to recall these pistons, they just aren't right. Full refund and they are going to try to make a better batch.
Please return the pistons to me, feel free to PM me here for address and postage
thanks
Dave
Yeah me too I definitely prefer the 1.2mm for a good seel and longer life of the ring now I can understand if you were just building a race saw then I can understand for the thinner 1mm ring.Personally I would like to see the continued use of 1.2 mm rings. I'm not a big fan of the 1mm myself, just my personal opinion. Dave sounds like a great guy to deal with
1 1.2 1.5 not much difference unless you need tenths.Personally I would like to see the continued use of 1.2 mm rings. I'm not a big fan of the 1mm myself, just my personal opinion. Dave sounds like a great guy to deal with
That ain't right. Sucks they got to get redone.Had no issue with ring seating in circumference of land. Not so sure on the pin though.View attachment 220137View attachment 220138
Actually I'd prefer a cast iron 1mm ring, when i stated that i dont like the 1mm ring it's mainly due to the fact that the wiseco one is chrome faced1 1.2 1.5 not much difference unless you need tenths.
Dykes rings are my favorite but you need a two piece top end to have the plating right at the top. They are single 1.5L
Will check this weekendif anyone else has issues PLEASE let me know here in the thread so I can just direct the Wiseco rep to one place to see all the carnage
thank you kind fellows and we will get it all straightened out
Dave
You would think a company like Wiseco would know beforehand and wouldn't let that out the door. They are a big name in the game... I guess as long as they make it right it will be forgotten.Dave although it sucks it didn't work out for the first go but I'm glad you're stepping up to the plate to make it right that is Sooper assume that you are doing this.
