was not my intention but it worked out.

I had this saw for years missing a starter and air filter cover. so I got the pieces put a carb kit in it and this was the first run. Or last run haha. Im trying to save it with help from a friend.

The locating pin came out of the piston and let the ring rotate around and catch the exhaust port
I blame the epa

My brothers name is David and we joke around that he breaks everything and or he's the one too get hurt.

Here's the piston/cylinder from an '07 yz 450f.
It had about 300mls of oil & 200mls of coolant in the engine when it came in 4 repair.....

That should buff out, I'd reuse it.

Not a saw, but OPE. This is the Deutz F3L1011F in one of my Miller Big Blue 251D welding machines. The exhaust valve gave up and then all hell broke loose. It was still running when I shut it down.

Back on topic, this cylinder from an 024 looks like someone tried to start it without a piston in it!
