Carb for 036 Super

036 Super has Zama carb, is there a Walbro or tillotson swap

Tilotson has many different carbs that will probably work for it. If you have the specs you could find one.

Tillotson's are extremely hard to find and very expensive when you do find one. The zamas work well! Even on my ported 036.

Why are Tillotson carbs so hard to find? I have also noticed this. I like the Quality of the Tilly! My 1987 272xp runs like the old violated Ape with one!!!

Tillotson HE-20A should fit & work fine. Not too expensive either. It comes with a compensating diaphragm cover. If your air filter doesn't have the compensating air filter and just need the plain diaphragm cover that part number is Tillotson 91A-344.

Not the best Tillotson carb for the 036s. I think HE43B is the best Tillotson, but very hard to find.

The Zama works just fine in my opinion.
Got one on my MoFo 036.
The only run time on this was 6 or so 7" cherry wood cookies before this, and was tuned to 13,5K until it's broke in.

Zama works good on my MOFO 036 as well. Strong!
