Hey guys, I am currently rebuilding a Homelite Textron (Walbro) HDC-4 carb obtained off E-bay. I don't see any sign of a ck valve under the screen, nor is there any black residue from one that may have deteriorated.
My question is do all Walbro HDC carbs utilize a ck valve, or are there exceptions? Don't know if it is relevant or not, but this carb is a 1973 model off a Super EZ. Thanks in advance!

The Walbro documents for the HDC series show a check valve, see 1, 12, and 39 in the attached file.

Thank you Mark, apparently the original ck valve has deteriorated and is completely gone. Have a good one!
