This is the style blade that works best for clearing trees. Also NEVER use regular circular saw blades as they are not meant for the rpm and abuse these clearing saws give out. They will shatter and you can get shrapnel everywhere image.png

Sharpen pretty easy too , just don't get them hot in a big tree they lose the temper and won't keep an edge . 12-3 o'clock area of the blade is the kick back zone , you have a lot of power there so don't underestimate it .

Good on the harness Keith , i've seen guys using those with the little single sling type with those and it's got to be painful and dangerous . Adjustment is important with that and the handle too so it fits you correctly . If you don't have the owners manual there will be one online at the Stihl website .

How heavy is that compared to a fs130 type trimmer ?
Brian u cant use it without the harness system, (too heavy) but it u look close at the metal bar u can hook it at diffrent points for a floating fulcrum effect. U hold up very little weight with your arms

That thing is awesome. My big question is, how fast can you drop it from the harness and run if you hit a bees nest?

Doesn't take long to unhook the unit from the harness . I can drop my back pack unit fairly fast and yes be prepared , hitting wasp nests does happen .
Watch for rocks ,scrap metal and wire fencing too !

I've left mowers, trimmers, saws, about everything. You can run faster without a load. :)

I like the ShakespeareUgly line out of all I've tried and I've used a bunch. Lowe's has it.
