Well, that don’t suck. The toasted Brioche bun doesn’t hurt either.
A friend turned me on to the I Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray for quickly hitting the buns before toasting on the griddle. I'm not sure if I'm happy about it or ashamed, but I keep doing it because the results don't lie.

Little thing's getting a workout this weekend.IMG_20240706_082158.jpgPXL_20240705_212306919.jpg
Doing a small party tonight so it will be filled back up with smash burgers. I'm quickly approaching the "paid for itself" threshold". Cheap thrills for sure!

Welp we joined the Blackstone crowd today. Heehawed around for a while at WallyWorld about the 28” or 36” or 22” and Mama Bear finally said “Just get the big one damnit !” Jeez, yes ma’am !!

I’ve used my homemade “Wishek Wok” for almost 15yrs and love it but man on man that fancy standing height Blackstone griddle is something else. There’s something about cooking on a disc blade that seems better somehow still 😆

You'll be glad you got the big one. Congrats. Never seen French fries cooked on one before. How did they turn out?

Thanks !! Go big or go home and I’m at home so I had to go big lol

We make them fresh with some voodoo kitchen slicer thing Mama Bear got a while back. They’re more hash brown than French fry but they’re amazing. Season heavy with these two and 🤤 The burger is homemade and so is the bacon actually. Didn’t put that together until now. Neat.

This might be the best chicken I’ve cooked on the Blackstone. Chicken breast dipped in butter then coated with Zatarans blackened seasoning. Cooked on the griddle at 500*. Juicy with great flavor in less than 10 minutes. I’m going to try the same process with fish.
It’s just so easy to cook good food fast and with little effort on a griddle.

I and the other FIL are thinking of getting a Blackstone for his son (my SIL).

28" or 36". Right now, the family consists of he, his wife (my daughter) and a three year old Heck on wheels.

Talk to me.

36”
The extra space is handy to have. I didn’t think I needed a 36” when I bought mine but now, I wouldn’t want a smaller unit. If you’re cooking for more than a couple people, you need the extra space.
