Just get in there and give it a try.
Youre already cutting squish by spinning ............... its just turning a different feed screw. Hardest part is deciding on what angle to cut it at.

I've been cutting a taper in the squish for a while now, once you've done it one time, you can do it anytime.

Is the recoil spool full of rope? Less rope means a smaller diameter which is harder to pull.

Do it have a dual key flywheel make sure its in x slot

If flooded take plug out turn saw upside down to drain fuel out exhaust and plug hole

How hard was the saw to start when you had it running? If you switched carbs because the first one wasn't right then maybe it really got flooded with fuel.

Just as hard. Buddy of mine was doing the pulling. I started it the day before,but the more I pull the less I can do it. Kind of an age thing and bad body parts.Different carb was just me wanting to tweak things.

Mike makes a good point, the 064 coil will not fire till it gets to a really high rpm, i cant remember off the top of my head but north of 12,000 i am pretty sure, many other models do not have this type of cut in especially at such a high rpm.

Easiest spot is dead top. Spin a flat spot on it big enough for the decomp and thread it in.
