Well if you've got 20 thou without a gasket then with a stock gasket it would be around 40 thou .At the same time it would raise the ex port a couple degrees and if anything it should run faster .I doubt it would affect the grunt enough to even tell a difference .
If it does though snag a cover from National Geographic or some other magazine that uses that type cover and make a gasket .I think that one is around 12 thou thick,thinner than a stock Stihl gasket .I've had to make a few gaskets myself because I sometimes miss measure when I cut a cylinder base,it happens .
