Oh, probably not! Is my 562xp the fastest cutting 60cc saw, Nope, that was proven by Sir Randy. Is it the end all of 60cc saws, Nope. Is it the only saw I want to own, Nope. Is it the largest or smallest saw you need to own, Nope. But, any saw in this class, Stihl, Dolmar, Echo, J-Red, Poulan, etc. that cuts as well as it does, is just a great firewood saw in my opinion. Just cut down a 20 inch oak and my face hurts from smiling. :aplastao:

Run my bar upside down, because it cuts faster on up cuts.:) IMG_7334.JPG IMG_7333.JPG

I agree rburg. The electronics alone when they work correctly is enough to make cutting more enjoyable without worrying about tuning. Im lucky I guess that my 562xp cranks great unlike some of the quirky starting from others Ive heard mentioned. I wouldnt trade my 562 for another 60cc

I agree. My 562 never had that starting problem either and I will be keeping mine also. To Riverrat2, always use Husky xp at 40:1 also. To Adironadackstihl, That is why I tried not to leave out a manufacturer. If it is a strong running 60cc saw with a sharp chain, how can one go wrong cutting firewood. And to John1212 that always says chainsaws are dumb, you are right, but a whole lot of fun, if you are cutting wood.

I never could get past the feel of Dolmars. Fat and plastic kinda looks and feels cheap? Ive ran several dolmars and I will say out of the box they r very strong runners though. I had a 362c and would take the 562 over it anyday.

That is the great part of chainsaws. Everyone gets to use the saw best for them, I have also owned or tried many saws in the 60cc class and for some reason enjoy that 562. If wood gets over 24 inch, I grab a larger saw. I have and will continue to give people crap about their choice, but it is always in jest.

I actually used a 6100 the other day. It was a runner for sure with lots of torque, however i prefer the feel and handling of my 2260/562. I love my 421 so im not being bias either.

I don't pick a saw based on speed and torque, i pick the one that suits my needs and feels right.
