I can't get non E fuels or have never seen it around here. Wish I could. Do they have it at the pumps?

Well I live in the snowmobile capital so Non E premium 91 octane is everywhere up here. Most Snowmobiles require 91 or higher. Some are over 200 hp

I'd like to hear about the results, have you tried advancing the timing with the higher octane? I know on a 2 stroke race sled it works

Yes some were advanced half the key with around 220 lbs of compression. There's just not enough time on these short stroke engines for it to work.

The higher the octane the slower they got. 110 was 10% slower than 93. I need to do a good test with 87 and the VP 94 I have.
Even if the VP ends up being slower, its really the only option I got if I dont want ethanol.

I could allways distill the ethanol out, but it wouldn't smell as nice, or stay good as long

True. I just bought VP fuel to use as storage and try it out in a few saws. Got maybe 2 gallons left. Need to drain and refill my weed eater with it.

VP makes a really good fuel, a friend of mine is a dealer and has been bugging me to Try it. Its suppose to burn real clean and last 2 years In a sealed can

I got a few things that have had VP in their tanks for better than 2 years. I started 3 of them this past weekend and they started and ran just fine. Popped the fuel cap and couldn't smell anything but VP, nothing going stale or turning yet
