Good grief guys.

I didn’t say I was gonna do it.

BUT the point is, if the oil has been designed and tested to run at 100:1 and he did it for hundreds of hours for 7-8 years, I’m pretty sure it’s fine to run that way…that being said I will
probably run more oil just for more power. I wanted the 100:1 oil so I could test the differences in power and temps between say 100, 50, and 25:1.

Also…it’s an ultralight in Nebraska. If the engine dies, you just drift down into a field.

Its all good bud. I wasn't trying to give you the business. And I know you aren't flying. I just don't understand why take the risk in a flying machine. Oil is cheap.
Most folks are still under the impression that anything with more oil than 50:1 is going to cause carbon buildup

With my gas cans, it works great for me to mix saber (doninator lately) in 1.5 gallon increments, i have several cans of that size. I fill a "2.56" oz container, which actually holds around 5 oz, for 1.5 gal. Somewhere between 40-45:1. Every once in a while with backpsck blowers, if i lean over too far, it just about dies and blows out a smoke show because of the oil pooled in the intake elbow pours directly into cylinder. Ill bet that thing could easily get by with half or less the oil it uses now. But im not running my saws on 80:1. And im not gonna have two different mix ratios layin around

Got this for $40 from a Believer…and a BSer I think…not necessarily about the oil but I think he saw who or where my ph # was from (I’m out of town now), did some research online, and fed me a story like he knew who I was and where I was from etc.
