Here's a handful of cases that I've mounted points in over the years of hunting them. I've probably got another dozen cases worth of points that are worthy enough to display. And several 5-gal buckets of 'what would've been'...points snapped in half, either find the tips, bases, lots of points that have a snapped wing on them. Tractors in the fields are unforgiving on these points...but without the tractors bringing them to the surface, especially bottom plowing, we'd find nothing.

Found these several months ago in one of the main fields we hunt. Some will get culled, but most are display material...

I should build my dad some cases.

How did you attach them? Can't really see anything holding them.

I've got some more displays made that are hanging at my sister/BIL's log cabin home, but they're on stained/polyurethaned sheets of plywood jigsaw'd out in the shape of big arrowheads/no glass. Those are all attached with a little shot of clear silicone.

My pop has a collection of arrow heads. Found 'em all on the farm his parents had. If I get the chance I'll snap a pic or two. Very cool seeing all the ones you have.

Fellas, looking like we might get an opportunity to hunt some real good arrowhead fields this coming weekend. Actually not very far, a handful of miles closer to the Flint River here in mid-Ga, from where most all of my arrowheads over the years have come from.

My best friend lived in this house for 40 years.

View attachment 28347

It has been vacant since he sold the farm in 2000, it is an original land grant plantation dating from 1742. One day I was walking through the yard and found a nice point under the tree you can see in the far right of the picture. I often wondered how the house could have been inhabited for 250 years and it had not been found before then.

I have played quite a few rounds of golf on that course. I have only seen the house from a distance and it is impressive. It would be beautiful restored. Not what you want to see happen to an old farm like that but it really is a nice course to play.

@USMC615 this is the best that I got. I did the pics. today while at the other farm. The old man who owned the house, collected them up until the 1940's. It is still hanging on the wall in the old house today.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that this is left empty, where do I sign up to buy it?! Oh and maybe need a visa too!

When i was 7 years old
I stayed with my sister and brother in law some.
They lived on Campbell's creek road
Near the state capitol in Charleston wv.
A very hilly area lots of cave's.
Creek's everywhere.
I walked the creek's and almost daily found arrowheads.
I don't know what the history of that area is but it must have had some sort of settlement.
I haven't found any anywhere else.
