Rebuilt a 372xt i got off a member here
It's in good shape.
Just need to change crank seals and fix.
2 top cover threads stripped.
The muffler left on it's own
Bet it sounded awesome lol
It wasn't scored but i switched it over to a ft big bore 52mm oe style with a 272 pop up.
Added a hd12 with an unlimited 350 coil and cut holes inside the bolt tubes.
Don't need earplugs.
sounds good.

Nice out today finally quit raining.
Running the big bore today
Put about a gallon through it.
The chainbrake was too light
Took it off I'll replace it.
Put about a gallon through it no problems.
Cutting for my 87 year old neighbor
His electric bill hasn't been above 32.00 lol
His only heat is wood.

2 oem 50mm 1 with 268 popup 1 with 372 piston.
2 huztl 52mm 1 272 popup 1 372
I did replace the case gasket on the first one.
Like running the big bore

Trying different setups.
Actually the 50mm farmer tec
i tried were
Close to the oem after.
I had ground on them some
Opened the exhaust and transfers.
Those 2 are in my friend's saw's.
They like them.
One's just a flat top 268
And the other a ft 372 piston.
A couple of other ft had really
Low compression 120s
Because of squish.

Ordered a couple of these they took 14 day's to ship here.
Same manufacturer as the 365s
They have a banjo clamp instead of a
Regular 372 clamp.
These are the only china 372 high tops.
I've seen.
Try to run them this weekend.

Yes
I'm changing those
They can damage the boot.

I tore one of them down
Just the standard thin ring ft type piston and ft type cylinder.
Changed out the pull rope
I have broke a few china ropes.
For true blue rope and a new style husky handle far more comfortable to me than the old style .
And changing the fuel and impulse to echo line.

I have been using vacuum line from the parts store for the impulse. Was afraid of fuel line collapsing.

At this point, what is your favorite combination? It appears it may be a 52mm big bore with the 272 pop-up.

What about the carb? Are you still using the Poleman Zama?
