One of these days I might try a pop up, but for now mine does pretty good. I wouldn't mind more torque though.I was suprised the short block has a big bore on it i had read other's got 365s

You're not going to believe meDefinitely. But with a 2 piece top.
Flag style brake handle/side cover for one. Choke lever, thumb set high idle, felling dog, starter, lack of AV spring between cylinder and handle. All scream 272/288. And it's more 272 than 288. Felling dog is 272 as is the starter. Starter has 2 sets of ribs between decal and gas cap; 288 has 3 as in Dave's pic. Clutch side top cover bolt location is also more 272 than 288.
I can see how I'm going to spend the first hour when I open the store this morning. LOL
