Lol... I have a MTM sx72 in a box just arrived. Will put it together tomorrow and take a few pics. Under instructions to trim a tree so might have to that first.
Thanks
I've got an aussie friend willing to ship me a saw.
Do you know of a reasonable shipping service.
258.00 seems high lol

Looking at manuals and pics the s2 might be a bit of a hybrid. Has a big air filter but the clutch brake cover is like a 272.

That does seem high. Faster is always more expensive, I sent 40 kg the Sth America a few years back for $50 but it took 3 months to get there. I will check a couple of carriers, east or west coast?

I've tried e-mailing carriers there no luck.
I did have problem's with the china fuel and impulse lines.
That's something they can't figure out is how to make a good rubber line.
I've had good service20170513_175708.jpg out of everything else they make.

Is just the line or the filter as well. I will have to get some of the yellow line.

Just a quick heads up on delivery. Australia Post would charge $137 for 1 saw and $188 for 2. Send & Pack $148 for 1 and $193 for 2. All A$ and 4 days delivery but I would expect that to be a few days more. You can look those carriers up online, they have calculators online.
Also I sent a message to Edison here to see if they would send direct to you. Ended up with a few more jobs to do so saw pics will be a bit later.

I might be interested in getting a Baumr 82cc if someone wanted to add another saw to their order and split shipping.

I got a reply from Edison and they said they are not able to ship international yet. That sort of suggests they will in the future. Are you guys sure you can't get these saws local or through Canada or Sth America?

Does anyone have any idea as to what the sx72 is a copy of? Is it a hybrid of husky models or a redmax or jonsered etc It seems to have some 272 design but has a 372 type oiler with adjustment on the bottom of the case. The air filter is large like a 372 but the clutch is outboard like the 272. I'm confused. I can say it runs smoothly and cuts clean and feels good. It leaks bar oil from the adjuster I think. I ran it 40 : 1 not the 25:1 that they suggest. What bar oil are you guys running, I am using a good 10w30 oil.

be careful, that black copy that is allegedly 92cc is a 372 copy, so not 92cc at all.....

I would love to see someone strip down a sx92 and see whats inside that
