Runs as good as any 372xp I've ever seen!First real cuts with the Neotec 372. It ran pretty good in that hard seasoned oak. The guy at our local sawmill said he's got fresher oak for my, I just need to get up with him.
Nice! I cut some white-oak last week in a similar state of seasoned. Standing for years hung up. Right into the stove, no fuss. Lot of folks look at the outside and think it's rotten and punky, they don't look at the grain. Minimal loss of BTUs.First real cuts with the Neotec 372. It ran pretty good in that hard seasoned oak. Neotec replaced the cylinder kit on mine with a 39.00 mtlano jobbie.
Since seeing @Maintenance Chief's 372 with a big bore I decided to give a big bore a try. I took a chance and ordered 5 because the pics in the ad looked good, one of them just showed up and it looks as good as the pics. I'll post the timing numbers and squish how it came out of the box in a few. I also made a new mandrel out of 2 pieces of scrap rod screwed together and a new block to cut the squish.
