Very few of them around here. Hardly ever see them for sale. I did 1 61-272 swap. Could have just been the porting but it didn't put out great power.

Being the only one it is hard to tell.

I did a stint, collecting all the 2 series when I first started saws.... Not a fan anymore, I just don't think they like me.

Never seen the 028, and only 1 038. But never ported it.

I like the 044 chassis pretty well.

Are trees a new thing in your area!? If I wander around long enough I might stumble over an 028! I've looked in a dumpster and found a 66 husqvarna!
Were Poulans or something else popular around there?

Mostly 50cc lots of throw away or 70cc+

I guess it has been a while since I have looked local. Only ever bought 1 saw local. All the others have been shipped in.

Doesn't hurt to go to a scrap yard every once in a while, kicking around and finding a muffler for something is sometimes beneficial to modify it instead of a nice one . Plus with the way people toss stuff out you never know what you'll come across.

It works Matt. What is the equivalent of a 670 in Hooskie language?

FYI, people in here that want to help Joe...

Watch the videos in YouTube. Don’t simply watch in the OPE thread box, as that won’t count as a “view”

I don’t know the hows and whys of that, but it is a thing...

Thank you sir.

Yes, to help with the "YouTube" side

Watch in YouTube.
Watch the entire video if you can stand it.
"Like" the video
Leave a comment, good or bad

YouTube looks for all of those things. The more of those that happen the more YouTube shares the videos with others to help grow.

Appreciate the help.

Joe

Just had to see....

Try aluminum next, like port it, but don't clean the oil out of the cylinder first, just a quick blow off afterwards, and put some of it in the crank case.

Interesting, I don't know what has changed or how it works, but a couple years ago when I had a youtube account, the analytics showed the views from YT, and other sites and sources. It seemed to have added to the total views back then.
