I thought the existing decompression port was good enough. But I can imagine the issue if up in a tree with tons more compression.

Its enough for stock setup
This cylinder got base machined for port work and all the mod so it'll need that groove freeing up for easier starting
Stock squish was 0.04, this landed at 0.017

I don’t want to do a video and I don’t ever want to check it again! Lol had to put a 50” bar on just to do the test! It’s hard to explain if you haven’t done it, but it feels like the dang thing is hydro locked! Almost! Lol
But with the decomp and timing set right it starts easy.On the karts that start them with an electric motor, and v belt and starter cup(basically a pulley bolted to the flywheel)

Why didn't you say so? Did you get it spooled up with the decomp held open first? Kinda weird the arms broke off, but the the nut and threads look good.

The decomp slams shut even if you try holding it, even with all 6 sided drilled out
The nuts corners are rounded

Makes sense to me now as to why you keep asking about this.
Have fun getting any saw over 100cc to blow over 200psi and then grab your drill and have at it !!!
