how does it smell? I used some craftsman oil that i got at Ace a month or so ago and it smelled so bad i poured it in my truck and bought some klotz which smells really good

ultra gives me headaches too. i had a bunch of it its all gone now had a bunch of husky xp oil too also gone. i am working on a bottle of klotz that i like so far. i used to run that in my go karts and really like it but its a different formula for yard equipment.

I’ve had no issue with saber. I use at 40:1. Not smelly either.

Anybody try Amsoil Interceptor in OPE? We stock it at my side job but not Saber. I asked about ordering it and we can't order anything at the store level. Right now I have some Stihl Ultra mixed up at 40:1 'cause I got some for free and it seems to work well.

I have not nore do I know anyone that uses interceptor in anything.

Ive used amsoil dominator for years. 32:1 for milling and 40:1 for the rest....non ethanol of course

That's my oil of choice now.

You couldn't pay me enough to use Klotz Super Techniplate.

I'm almost finished with a quart of saber. I haven't noticed any bad smell at all. I have been running it at 40:1 in my saws, blower, trimmer. 50:1 would be plenty. I have talked to folks that run it 80:1 in lawn equipment with great results, but I'm not going to try it.

I had a customer use it at 80:1 in an 088 I ported for him. The big end rod bearing melted.

This guy was using it in blowers and trimmers. It would be crazy to try it in a big ported chainsaw. I'm not going to try it in anything.
