not trying to start a long drawn out oil debate. I want to know specifically if anyone uses it how they like it and at what ratio they run it at. someone gave me some new in the unopened bottle. i have read amsoils info about safe to run at 100:1 im not a believer.. just looking for real world experience with it. im sure 50:1 woukd be fine. does it smell bad?

Been using it for years at 40 and 50 to 1. I did switch to 32 to 1when I started running ported saws.

It smells good. It protects well. Follow the above advise on ratio and enjoy your equipment.

I'm almost finished with a quart of saber. I haven't noticed any bad smell at all. I have been running it at 40:1 in my saws, blower, trimmer. 50:1 would be plenty. I have talked to folks that run it 80:1 in lawn equipment with great results, but I'm not going to try it.

I’ve used it for over 40 years with not a single problem. Started with my air cooled snowmobiles in the ‘70’s, then every 2 stroke since then. 50cc and up get 32-1, smaller motors get 50-1.

i got a free sample of it in the early 80's but i just added it to the oil i was using at the time and didnt even think about it until now

Mix it up and send it. Works well ..no bad smell.
