What size is that screw ? And does it go into the tank from that mount hole?( best arrow I can draw with my stubby challis finger. )
You’ll have to bend it slightly. Some fit perfectly. Others don’t.PS wrap hits my NOS top cover pretty bad…mostly spring mounts plus 7th. Two rubber in front IIRC. Hodgepodge saw, tank might be 181

punch out a piece of beer can and put that binch in bottom of that hole. done.
yep. unscrew brass plug, insert something that blocks hole in the bottom, i use a hollow punch on a beverage can of choice, reinstall brass plug.Hello There. thx chris! started as a tank, case and handle that looked like got straight gassed immediately and steipped for parts. the sticker on the handle matches saw serial number so its not a replacement tank. took a while collecting parts. still want a nicer starter and muffler but at least it runsSaw looks great Custer - nice job!
