Old girl still runs good. Here’s is running both my FT288 with 8t and ported just seeing if it seems to be stronger but of course no fair comparison because 2 different chains and 8t vs 7t on the stock saw but the ported Ft288 feels much stronger which I would hope so.

They didn't start making the 288 until 1988, so not an '85 saw for sure. Recoil should have the large decal so I would say it has been swapped out at some point. Plastic brake flag is correct for 1994. Nice saw!

Thanks I’m happy with it! I traded a 372 for it. I gots 3 of dems still so I could spare one :eek:
