What are my kill switch options for a 181? There is no screw grounding it out like a 288?

Being the case is nearly identical couldn’t you drill a small hole for the ground screw and use a 288 switch? I’ve never had a 181 on my bench, could be way off.

Yep, it fixed up nice. Carby was the most difficult to get right tho.

Sweet, the guy I bought it off said it wouldn't take much to fix but I never got around to it so glad it worked out for you.

Speaking of the guy I bought it off , I checked his feedback and it turned out he had a sideline selling "adult toys" and a woman gave him bad feedback about the length of time it took for her purchase to turn up . Must have been an emergency or something.

Working on a thin ring 181 project. Just a refresh /rebuild. Have all the parts on order. The question is should I hide the thin ring piston away as rings are NLA and use a Meteor single ring?

Yep, certainly am, Andrew. Just depends what it bids up to. Are you wanting to go for it? If so, quite happy for you to!

I’ve still got those 288s I bought to work through so I’ll pass .
also I’m keeping my eye on the 056 super parts saw , there’s a quite a few parts Id like off it if the price doesn’t go crazy .
