You have a haul of your own coming out of Gisborne to show the class don't you mate? ;)

Hahaha. Damn, it's a small world.

Yep, I reckon half the guys buying saws on tardme are on this site or as. I sold a 55 parts saw this week and a guy in the questions said he'd seen my posts in the arborist forum.

Cheers. 3 spike or 4 spike?

Also I've got a pile of 61/266/268/272 parts if either of you need any before I list it on the yellow site.
I'm thinking it'll be 4 as the inner has 4 if you look back at the pic. Im good for that series for parts too, thanks mate.

So, if you bludgeon your way through the hardened steel of the inner dog to make a 5mm hole, you can fit a 372 style chain roller!

Hooray 288!

quick flash w/tig [or ox/ac, small tip] makes drillin them easier.
keep the red spot under 1/4". rest will stay as is.

Extensive or Expensive bro? I'm still not too sure about that particular vendor.

Well it was exactly as advertised and turned up a day after I paid so no complaints from me. They'll all need new bearings gaskets and seals which is what expected. I dont know anything else about him though.

I always found Jedwan good to deal with, he sold all his parts to Skyblue though. Are you buying off him?

Jedwan was a good parts fulla. To be clear tho i've just gone on a bit of a retail therapy binge recently and bought 4 saws in quick succession and then parts for em, not a trader by any means.

What did you get? All three of those saws will be sold, I've got my old mans 181 which I'll never sell.

There is one trader I'd avoid but he doesn't seem ti be on there any more. He has another login I reckon though.

372 coz I always wanted one. 359 coz it was ten minutes away. 353 coz I got greedy. 357 coz I had a 359 and a 262 by then so why not! :)

As to the other, if it's RussThurtyNine I understand completely....

I've got a 371 so I understand .

Never dealt with Russ39, will avoid though. Skyblue has a website up now listing his parts.
Do you buy off SES direct? I'll be putting in an order on monday.

HOORAY indeed...looking good.

Did a bunch of felling with my 288 last week, hands down my favorite saw for felling duty. When I first started using it a couple years ago I was like wtf there’s no felling sight lines on it. Discovered pretty quickly that the handle bar serves this purpose perfectly. Y’all probably already know that but figured it might be worth sharing for anyone new to the deuce 88.
