Sent from my non internal combustion device.

Its fat there but it's a new p&r
I'll play with it after while but they have been happy around 14.5 but everyone is different.

That's a Beautiful saw, Nice built thread! What did you do to the muffler? I know you have been revisiting how much opening.
It has the factory opening opened up just to the deflector with a stock cover.
Tried a dp cover but it didn't like it.
Oem screen is in it

Idk about all that but the 660 jason ported for me thumps the 064 i had..its not even close.
A 066 or a 064 hybrid with a decent cylinder will thump any 660 I've built.

Even with a good cylinder a 660 will never be as strong.

This one is a damn strong 85cc
Reminds me of my 066 with the angry feel.

This saw has a almost stock muffler and on green rings has 185lbs of compression
020 from the key @102 123.5 76 and is a real good runner. Both the 7900 and 064 belong to Cr500 and what a nice pair of saws.
One of his was free because he used the buy 2 get one free deal.

I didn't know the 660 was weaker than a 066 once there both modded I just figured the stock mufflers on the 660 was more restricted. What makes the 660 weaker?
Case capacity and poor cylinders.
It makes a huge difference how good the cylinder is stock.
A good one and a bad one ported to the same numbers will run nothing alike

Jason. I noticed in the video that it appeared to me that your chain on the 064 was loose. Do you always keep the chains sagging on the bar? Not a lot, but enough that I could notice. I usually adjust my chains a little tighter. Just trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong or not.

It's made for a 10pin and would tighten up on the dolmar but not on the stihl.

Both awesome saws. Very close, but I think the 066 was just a tick faster. Maybe because it was broken in already.
