60 and 70cc saw opinions

View attachment 226220 Well I put the 565 into some wood this morning, sugar maple 20” bar. It’s as smooth as advertised but doesn’t seem to have the low end grunt I was expecting. Maybe when it gets broken in.
Of course I’m comparing it to ported 2165 and a 2171, so I’ll have to dig out a stock 2165 and my ported 2159 and do some times cuts next week.

They take a few tanks to come to life.

Definitely NOT RIGHT. Need to tighten the mounting screws.

Something very wrong there. Not sure it’s the carb mounting screws either.

Blow it out with compressed air and then start disassembly from air filter to jug. Flip the control switch to the side, don’t try to remove it.

It’s incredible what MT will try to compensate for, and actually do a pretty good job.

I will have a saw or two CFB ported at some point, just been too busy this year.
Most tree guys in my area don’t like moronic saws and there are no husky’s to be found for miles. I have quite a collection of the 21xx saws that will in reality outlast me.

I like me some of them Canadian Farm Bacon Saws.
