Tor has been a valued contributor here way longer than you or Bill, and quite frankly he isn’t wrong about this topic being discussed ad nauseam in the past. I was perfectly happy to let the thread play out and not say anything but, since you wanna be a tough guy about it maybe you should take some time and “learn” the lay of the land around here before running your yap about stuff. A simple site search would have given you all the info you got in this thread and while you’re at it go check out the site rules we all agreed to when we signed up. Thanks!

In addition Inwprk for a refiner and we dont make 87 non ethanol. Our product is sold from Wis down to Colorado and as far was as Oregon.

The thread 550 mk2 vs 261 could be interesting enough in 2025 since both models have a few years under their belt, but it depends on whether they have undergone any upgrades, why etc., and whether it has actually made them better than they originally were.

I look at chainsaws as a tool, what interests me about them is when they have a mechanical breakdown, diagnosing the cause.

Same here, when I was selling saws, I was more interested in the ones people brought in with issues than the new ones on the shelf. I enjoy the troubleshooting aspect of working on saws, much like electronics, but with liquids involved!

Anyone who took what you said as offensive needs thicker skin. We all have an opinion and just because we may not agree means we can still think for ourselves. The day we all have the same opinion is the day I need to go join my Dad with the Lord. I have traded and talked saws for over 25 years with a lot of great folks from Europe. I am always amazed at how well spoken they are in English. Hell the majority are better at it than many I deal with in my own area.

Abrasive.....hell you never met my Dad
Years ago he came over for something while I was working. It was a chilly day and my wife came out wearing one of my flannel shirts. She is a woman of average build. Dad looked at her and said "Damnit you all already have three sons why are you pregnant again"

She just laughed as the factory had already been closed.
