Tor has been a valued contributor here way longer than you or Bill, and quite frankly he isn’t wrong about this topic being discussed ad nauseam in the past. I was perfectly happy to let the thread play out and not say anything but, since you wanna be a tough guy about it maybe you should take some time and “learn” the lay of the land around here before running your yap about stuff. A simple site search would have given you all the info you got in this thread and while you’re at it go check out the site rules we all agreed to when we signed up. Thanks!

I should definitely have chosen a different word than stupid, the word can be interpreted one way or another.
It was not intended against the thread starter, or any person who has participated in the thread, none of you are stupid.
I apologize for using the word stupid as it can be interpreted very negatively, not very tactical in retrospect how it developed.

The thread 550 mk2 vs 261 could be interesting enough in 2025 since both models have a few years under their belt, but it depends on whether they have undergone any upgrades, why etc., and whether it has actually made them better than they originally were.

I look at chainsaws as a tool, what interests me about them is when they have a mechanical breakdown, diagnosing the cause.
