400.1 first impression

I think it’s more important now than ever to run 40:1 or better with modern saws.

Richard Flagg has some nice videos on them mixing ratios and film strenght on them engine parts.

Same here. I don't think there's quite as much left on the table on these newer saws. Not saying they can't be improved though... Gotta say I love the look/styling of the .1

Think they’re all broken in and by sounds of the saws they’re not stock

Video states mm and timing advanced, minimum required mods for any saw. They should all be ported..

I agree on the looks, neither come with screws so doubt I will try one.

This is the problem with examples of one. Time will tell.

The biggest one was the fastest one. The next biggest one was the 2nd fastest. The smallest one was third fastest.
Did I see that right?

Definitely not broken in, he got the new 400.1 a few days ago.
