394 or 395 which do you prefer?

Idleing after big lond cuts milling will bring the temp back down quite a bit. Vapour lock sucks, but IMO letting the saw return to at least average operating temperature is good practice. 2 smokes are as much liquid cooled as they are air.

There both 56mm. The 5 is quad the 4 is duel just like a 066 only with fantastic timing.

Ahh. Cool. That's what I was thinking. I've got about 3/4 of a 394 in the garage. Might be the next project after the 440.

They are so very strong. I have a lot of time in my 066 just to beat my woods ported 395. My 394 is not a woods port.

Tell me about the kit Keith. Choking to shut it off doesn't help at all and I do use NGK's.
And the only 395 I've ran was Keiths SCARR portes one. WOW is all I'll say.

Swapping over to a 395 top end is the kit.
