394 or 395 which do you prefer?

I'm a 394 kinda guy,I own both and enjoy running them but I use the 94 more.

395 for me, its quad ports make for some real good gains with a port job. I think the 395 has a wider working rpm range, though I have only ever ran a stock 394.

I've only run my MMWS 394 and have no restart issue....but I do LOVE that beast. If I could change one thing, however, it'd be the front chain tensioner. I'm not so in love with that.

@mdavlee, explained it to me today on another forum since I have one and was experiencing it due to long milling cuts.

If you cut it off and fire it back up within a minute it is fine but let it sit 5-10 mins. and it sucks to start. I am getting better at getting it fired back up.

If you work them like in a mill choke them when you shut it off to help the problem. They can vaporlock in the intake block. If you can pop the filter and prime it,

Seems like if you let it idle for while after a cut before you cut it off with the choke it helps more. Gets some of the heat out.

If it's long cuts I leave them all running unless I'm changing the set up

I never ran either of the 2 but guys up here in my neck of the woods like the 395 alot.
