36" Mill from HL Supply

Rained all day today, so have not used it yet, but soon. For the Red Oak I'm going to do, I will need the 36" bar (28" will not bet long enough as you loose a few inches and a 28 is really a 27"). That is why they re named the 24" bars 25" bars, so you would not realize the 28" bars are short!

So, the Hickory boards I milled last week are still in my trailer. They seemed real dry when I milled them, and I tested them with my moisture meter and they are all in the high single to low double digits.

Would you guys use this wood as is, or does it need more drying???

The Granberg 3 is really well-built. These do look pretty similar. Anyone have both of these that can comment?

If they are high single or low double digits like 12-13 max I don't think I'd have any issue using them. As long as you trust your meter.

I had a little problem with mine. The vertical bars were a bit out of line, flexing the bar. I'm going to mod it a bit to fix it, but I hope the problem is resolved going forward.

What I did was click on the link posted earlier. But just searched for it on HL site and nothing. Weird
