I'd probably leave it, but what could it hurt to throw some 220 grit at it?
the only question I have with doing it this was is what happens to the very edge ...the corner where the cylinder wall meets the head...is it rounded in such a way that the cylinder needs to be rounded as well?
Anyone who has done the 357/359 carb and intake conversion, does the new intake tract seem pushed to the left and slightly out of Allignment with the pins on each side??? The air filter opening is right in the middle, so it is centered, just seems to be tension especially where the choke and O/I switch are???
I just did one last night, and oh yeah, do you really need that little blue ring on the inside of the intake boot
Ok.
I plugged the decomp. When I did the vac test I had to mess with it to get it to seal. Plus who needs that on a 50 cc saw?
My dealer didn't have a ring [emoji35] so it's got the old one in it for now.
Dressed the bar. Put a nice aggressive edge on the chain. Fresh fuel. Popped on the third pull. Fired up but I couldn't get it tuned. High screw all the way in. Pulled the filter. That was better. So I took brake cleaner to the filter. Much better now!
Here is the video.
Having a hard time telling the difference between 4stroking and the limiter. How's the tune sound?
Played with the tune a little more. I think I've got her rich enough. What do you all think?
She's a strong saw! But I've yet to run a 346 so I've got no comparison to stock.
Here she is noodling in white oak.
