Piston not 100%, but IMHO should be fine with new ring, ring end gap .002

I would be very surprised if that gasket is causing the problem. That Chinese carb would be my suspect. Did you pull Welch plugs and see if there was debris blocking the main jet passage? I know you’ve swapped carbs and stuff but I think we’re all running out of steam on this one.

All the Zama's are Chinese that I know of. Going to try to swap the whole tank form the 351 to this one, just for giggles.

Clean spot, wiped down everything found no fault.

Yes, thicker walled vacuum line than the OEM, same issue with OEM
