yup, I did... I traded for it and all is well. dumb thing is that with the shipping $$ neither of us did well, so kinda silly to trade bars if ya have to ship them fyi

J, Al definitely went w/ different numbers than you did. I still don't have much time on the saw, because I'm still waiting on parts, but Al's #'s sure are snappy....

I am pleasantly surprised how it runs , very easy to work on and get gains from also. I don't know the people who are getting it but I hope they like it.
"Easy to work on" is the 200 series all over . Im sure no one will be anything other than happy as can be with the result.

Just stumbled across this thread. I am the lucky sob that won this here saw. I watched the video, looks to be cutting very good. I have my dad's old 272 and it is an excellent saw (stock), I also have a Treemonkey ported 288 and it too is an excellent saw. Always wanted a 262, heard good things about them. I really appreciate all you have done. I am looking forward to running it. I will be bringing it to the chainsaw races up at the Chisago County fair at the end of July. Now if I can give it a chain that can compete with some of the other guys. Thanks again!

I hope you enjoy it!
It's a really good strong saw, it's the first one I've ever ported or ran so I had no idea what to expect and I was very surprised at how it runs.
