I ran it a little and liked how it ran but it feels held back a little,transfers and exhaust is going up tomorrow

I didn't touch the carb other than tune it and I dumped some bad stuff out of the tank

I put a flame notch in the piston. The plugs get real close on these J.

I'm sorry, I do not.

I put clay on piston, saw where the plug hit it, marked piston, and made a divot with a carbide ball.

It isn't needed with .030 out on the 262.

I do not know exactly how long but quite a while. When I got it the guy said that he hadn't used it in some time because when it got hot it would quit on him. I pressure/vac tested it, found the leak, found the scored piston, quoted the repair and he declined it so I would up buying it and sticking it to the side. Thats been at least eight months ago.

Here it is at 105 127 73 it runs ok but not great. Gonna change some stuff and make it better.

i would service the carb though and replace the lines and filter if you have not done it. no telling how old the parts are.

I cut most of the material out with a cc right angle then finish with a cut off wheel.
On a stihl I find the old cut off wheel to still be the fastest and best way. I'm also very use to using one.

I'm a firm believer that you can't have too many handpieces. I've even managed to overfill this rack I made by almost 2x.
