My parts cost on the most recent rebuilds averaged $250 each. I didn't end up using all of the parts, but its easy to see how pricey things get. All oem properly rebuilt unit can fetch a pretty penny. I'm willing to be a never fueled unit would fetch $1500+ now on the bay.
I dont see any on there do you?

Nope...not mine...
He may get 12 - 1400.00 what say you guys? Question is can Stihl top this saw with a much better model in the future. If so they wont be worth nothing close to that.

Al,
Are you using the OEM tooling for that "hour" to split and re-bearing/seal the 200t.
Just curious. At $8 a set it don't take long to recoup the $30 in tools it takes to do the seal job( if it actually does do the job 'right')
No case splitter . Fact you don't even need any heat .These little darlins have 7 roller, roller bearing mains, slip fit not heat shrink fit like Stihl ball bearing mains .

Where might I ask does one buy seals and bearings for a 200 for 8 bucks a pop ?

Seals(each), not seals and bearings, sorry for the confusion.

They are not the Bakelite seals they are the black rubber ones for the cheaper price. Same ones that fit an 020.

You paid a lot huh. if you think the stock seals are tricky wait till you go aftermarket. I want to see this.
