066/394 hybrid build

I'd be an a-hole if ididn't upload this to share...here's a clip of it with the carb still not right. It's hammering some pretty hard knots too.

I can't wait to get a carb in better shape on it. I'm trying to make my mind up on whether I want to use the modded carb from my 064 pipe saw or just grab the one off my 880. I suppose I'll start with the easiest one to attach.

I talked to ddm today about this but they only sell modified carbs so I'm still searching for the parts

Ok...this is more like it. I installed a stock wj69 carb and it runs much better. I replaced the intelli-carb plate with an older flat one with a vent hole so it won't lean out past where it is without some pop off adjustment. Now I just need to match a carb to the one I modified on my 064.

It's a knuckle scorching sumbitch! That muffler is right up in my grill so I have to hold my hand off the corner to cut.
There's a lot left in it.

You could almost watch it go down when the WB carb was on it. It's had about 3/4 tank through it so far.

I believe it's (not in this case because it's a dual transfer cylinder I believe) dual vs quad port for the most part.
In this case, it's probably port shape, tunnel entry and timing.
