I don't Know yet, gotta drill a hole for the plug but I don't know what else.Does it need more work to fit the plastics?
When I build mine it's going to be under the plastic and factory looking. And how hard to change the angle of the spark plug?
Still ain't seen my oh-6-4...![]()
When you build a few saws you get a feeling that it's going to be a runner before you ever start it,I have a feeling that it's going to be stout. It has a very gumpy feel to it. A little more compression and some grinding I believe will make a 066 killer and I got a few very good running 066's here to see if it is or not.
Gotta kill a wicked 066 before you can kill a stout 395.
It's gonna have to pack a lunch to get the first one, then maybe I'll get the husky out of the basement.
Good times. Keep on keepin on Jason.![]()

Thats what I would want, if I were to have one done. When I build mine it's going to be under the plastic and factory looking.
I like everything hid and all the covers on,I don't even like the maxflow filters because the stock cover don't fit.
That's why I said you have to beat the 066's first. There's 4 of them here that are stout.Stout 066 wasn't even close to a decent 395 so you got a long row to hoe! Granted I tested with a 32" and an 8 pin.

Maybe somethin' like this by @srcarr52 ...

I own a 395 that was mild ported and I ran it in videos with 066's but I redone it in may and it don't get ran with them anymore for a reason.
I build 1122 stihls and it would be silly for me to beat everyone of them with a husky in a video, that's why I said if it will beat the stihls then we can try the husky but it's staying in the basement till the 066's get beat.
The quad transfers and excellent timing of the husky is a hurdle the stihl might never be able to jump.
Doesn't having it on the intake side keep the piston cooler? I see what you mean though. For max power I'd rather have a vertical plug.
I wonder how the cylinder behaves on the 064 case/ignition/carb compared to the old 056 case/ignition/carb. Does max rpm change, does torque change, does performance improve....interesting stuff. Brett has some I interesting cutty cutties, I've always wanted to go to his place to play saws and bring my snelerized 201 with muff mod & timing advance to show him how a well modded saw runs.
