No. I was hoping DD had an 088 carb for sell that I could go ahead and have sent to the "Show Me" State.

You know, for Prepar, I mean Testing purposes.

I guess the 056M II carb would not be an acceptable alternative....

I've got an extra 3120 carb you can have if that would work.

So all the factory plastic including the air filter cover will work with this carb?

You'd have to get a 088 filter base for the air filter knob.

I just had a giggle to myself thinking it would have been easier to just port an 088 but where is the fun in that

But then you would be adding about 5-10 lbs and about another $1000. Well unless you already had one sitting around. Lighter the saw is better for me.

I probably would have been better off just being happy with one of Jason's 064 or 064/066 hybrid. But like you said " What fun would that be"!? Lol

There incredibly cheap is the main reason

I didn't time them very good but it and the 066 are almost even and a few tenths ahead of the 064.
I think,if someone wants to time them it would be great

These also have a smaller fuel pump. So they are better with a smaller cased saw.
