Yep, the one I just ported and was so happy with. Uuuuuggghhh........ I was feeling so good about how it was running too. Was cutting some big White Oak and it started to rattle. Coupla seconds later it shut off. Couldn't pull starter cord. So the first thing I was wondering is what happened and how much is it gonna cost.

Got home and there is a screw stuck in between the fins on the jug. Where did that come from?
Took pull starter off and another screw fell out from behind the cover!
The ignition coil came completely unscrewed from both screws and was jammed up against the flywheel!

I have no idea how thee screws came out. I did not even touch them when working on it a couple days ago.

My first guess was flywheel key sheared before I read on. At least it'll be a simple fix.

I guess that is why the only thread locker on a Stihl seem to be on the ignition screws. Mike

The IPL shows an M5 washer which I assume might be a belleville type
You can get them cheap from MacMaster -Carr or a little more from flea bay .
