034S was the first saw that I bought new, I love my 034S it has been a great saw
through the years and it is still running strong after all these years. Served me well it has!
About time for a bigger jug & slug?

That was when a super was a super. 034S, 036 and 360 all have the same size P&C. Basically the same saw, except the 360 has the bigger clutch bearing (the others can be refitted to use it) and MS flippy caps. Attached is the tech bulletin PDF on the 036 upgrade to the larger 360 clutch drum and bearing kit (the 036 clutch bearing was prone to grenadeing):

I have 2 034s,one my dad bought new and the other my father in law bought new and as far as I know neither have ever had a single part replaced not even a carb kit, I ported one of them and it's a great runner, has to be at the top of the list with a 660 as far as great durable stihls go.

One of my favorites for sure.
