What oil is best? and what ratio?

I apologize if this has been asked before but with over 700 pages to the thread I didn’t feel like going through them all.

Anyone have any experience with the Castrol GO 2T oil? I was just given a case of it by a friend who I did some falling for, he figured that I could use it. Just wondering what people’s thoughts are on it. Thanks

I would say run it at 25:1, if oil split from the muffler, go 32:1. I run bike oil cuz it's convenient for me to get.

It is only FB rated. Try and look for an FD rated oil. Burns cleaner.
That castrol looks like its 4 stroke oil, no?

I think when they say 2T there two stroke. I got 4 stroke motorcycle oil for my ATV just recently. I was thinking it was castrol...I thought it said 4t? I will have too look up what I bought or look when I get home to be for sure.

I had to order a quart of oil for my new string trimmer and Yamalube was the cheapest and easiest oil to get

Not to mention it’s highly recommended by the pistol packing primate...

Anywho, at first it looked like dirty crankcase oil but I carried a syringe outside and in sunlight it looks purple

Am I good to go?

Figured I would chime in here,

I've been running the Stihl orange bottle and sometimes the stihl ultra oil for 20 years.

I mix the two gallon oil bottle to 1 and 3/4 gallons of gas and Ive had zero problems.

I'm sure there's better oils out there but for the price it can't be beat.
