Good point Mason. I should have specified. Klotz Benol is a Warm weather oil only.
Yea. I know that part. I heard people run caster in their bikes in the old days. Some still run caster in RC engines. But I rarely see anyone run in saws.

I’ve burned 4 gallons of benol in the last couple days. It’s fine. I had trouble with it in some super cold weather. That said when it’s done I’m done with it. It’s good but I think there’s better options. I am literally running it right now. I’ll take yer free ultra Chevy if you honestly don’t want it.

I was gonna say I'd take it too. But I probably won't run into him at a GTG since I have not been to one yet. And it's probably not worth shipping it. Haha

But I'd run it in the mean time till I find something to stick with.

Wow. 4 gallons of Klotz Benol? Or 4 gallons of fuel mixed with Benol?
You gotta love that smell!

True. I’m not going to a gtg. Hell just run it Chevy. I think the problems come when it’s all you use forever in a saw.

What do you typically run Chevy?

Very little but yes. Screens stay clean though. Honestly it didn’t wack my tune out bad. I have been stumping too so that loads a saw pretty good.

What do the pistons and cylinders look like on the Farm saws Matt? Still like new? Or some wear?

Pulled the muff off the 310 tonight. All but the last 2 weekends at 80:1. Not saying it means anything but it looks pretty good

Looks good Matt. But its like Russian Roulette with those 80:1 mix percentages.

I would take that gamble with my experience with saber at 80:1. Do I feel better running it at 32:1 with a $1,200 saw. Yes.

I've got a poulan pro strato handheld blower and a 3314 modded that all they have had there whole life is 100:1 saber . they both look great. I figured if 100:1 was going to kill something it would be a blower that spends its life wfo loaded tank after tank. Still looks good to me.

I hate that chit! Loads up- collects carbon- bad deal in the long run(in my opinion anyway).
I want to mix RICH(as you all kno) and I want it to burn clean.

You should try motul 800 then, no carbon build up. Mostly because it doesn’t fully combust, in turn it lubes well.
